Options Equine Sanctuary  is an organisation dedicated to rescuing all horses in need. We currently house 35 equines, most of them were rescued from certain death. All horses at the sanctuary have a home for life. With the current economic crisis many horses are being mistreated, abandoned and needlessly sent for slaughter we must help to save them. To find out more please visit our website at http://www.options_equine_sanctuary.webs.com/

I think it would be a good idea to post pictures of the Sanctuary so we have some sort of reference. Also pictures of the rescues and saying what has happened to them after you have rescued them? Do you keep them all? or are they put out on contract? How do you raise funds? Where in the country are you? Sorry if this sounds harsh but there doesn't seem to be any real info??biggrin

thanks for your feedback, unfortunatly the forum does get slightly overlooked in terms of updateing, editing ect. I do update the website as often as possible so our info is all on the web. Its just i dont often get much time to spend on the internet by the time we finish the horses!! We do keep all the equines we get and they stay at the sanctuary for the rest of there days. The horses stories are on the website, and the photos are often updated. At the moment we are raising alot of funds by doing carboots, some lovely people keep raiding thier homes and donateing things for us to sell. Another way we generate funds is loaning the equines, (they have to stay at the sanctuary) £25 per week and the equine becomes yours, you can ride and lavish affection upon them all day long. We are situated between Gainsborough, Retford and Doncaster. thanks again will try and get some updates done in next couple of dayssmile
